City of McDonough

McDonough hosts a number of annual events, including the Henry County Fair held each Fall and the Geranium Festival in May.

According to 2000 Census, the City of McDonough had a population of 8,493 persons. Between 1990 and 2000, the city experienced a population increase of 190.0%, compared to the state growth during this period of 26.4%.
